Vegan camp food
Food and camp go together like……food and camp. Here are some ideas for camp food that doesn’t require a cool box, is lightweight and easy to prepare, and most importantly requires little prep or clear up. Going vegan for camp takes out all the worry of cross contamination of knives and chopping boards, and the food does not become toxic if left in the sun for a few hours!
I should add that I have no affiliations with any of these companies – I just love their stuff.
Beloved of veggies and vegans everywhere. This is a go-to camp food for me as it is dried, so lightweight and requires no cooling, is well behaved (doesn’t stick too much), but most of all is tasty and good value when bought in bulk.
I had given up on ever having a s’more ever again, but these are awesome! They toast, melt and squidge just like they should. Add your favourite biscuits and voilà!
This stuff is so versatile, as you can use it to make “meatballs” to add to pasta, as well as the obvious delicious burgers. It is filling and tasty and cooks quickly, so perfect after a long day trekking.
Pricey but really worth it because it can be cooked in the bag for a zero washing up option. Very very tasty! They also do a dal and rice but not tried that yet.
